The 2022 Lexus NX is the compact SUV from Lexus and it has been entirely renewed. This freshening up allows it to remain one of the most interesting vehicles in its category.
Efficient engines
The Lexus NX is available with 4 engines for 2022 that give you outstanding fuel economy and performance. The entry-level model, the NX 250, offers a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower. If you're looking for more performance, the NX 350 features an all-new 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, allowing this model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds.
Two economical hybrid powertrains
If you're looking for better fuel economy, the NX 350h has a hybrid system that uses 1 less liters of fuel per 100 kilometers than the previous version, with a rating of just 6.5 L/100km. The big news for 2022 is the addition of a plug-in hybrid version, the first-ever such model for Lexus, which allows you to travel up to 58 kilometers without using a drop of gas. That kind of electric range could allow you to do most of your driving without spending money on fuel and without creating pollution. In addition to being the most fuel-efficient NX model ever, the NX 450h+ is also the fastest, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 6.2 seconds.
Refined new styling
In addition to receiving new powertrains for 2022, the NX has been given an extensive restyling that gives it a more modern, elegant and refined look. The front end adopts an hourglass grille that is a new approach to this element that has distinguished the brand for many years. At the rear, the traditional Lexus logo has been replaced by letters that spell out the name in the center of the tailgate, a detail reminiscent of the new LX 600, Lexus' flagship model.
